Our mission for this mural is to reach our audience’s hearts through a collage of different forms of poetry, powerful images, newspaper headlines, and quotes from The Kite Runner. The main focal point is a person picking up broken mirror pieces reflecting images from the novel. We wanted to create something powerful, and also express that the process of healing is necessary in life in order to move on.
