Christopher Columbus discovers America

The start of what something that will become a nation, something big. He has high hopes.

Colonies were formed and eventually states were made, the United states have seen a lot since then.

Fast forward.

The United States of America has a population of 317 million of people.

No this isn’t a history lesson, this is a fear. We shouldn’t always take pride in our nation that we live in.

Because expression of feelings is shunned and ignorance is promoted. Walking down the halls and you see people dealing with depression and anger but we can’t help each other. Because we’re kind of all like robots. Walking down the street and it’s easier to find a side of fries then an apple. And when you get that apple even that is not natural, all of these foods being genetically modified.

We can’t live with each other so we keep changing each other for the bad but hiding behind these masks doesn’t make it seem bad. Expression is a beautiful thing and I challenge you all to do this one little thing and that is to live on as yourself.

Our economy has collapsed, the air is polluted, hopeless wildlife becoming extinct… We only think for ourselves but what if our thoughts expand and we think about the world as 1 big place? Nobody does that though because we still walk through the street and see anger and depression and nobody wants to live being ignored and feeling oppression. This world we are ignoring and these opportunities are part of a future that this youth is forming.

Yeah so America has seen a lot. In the civil war we fought between reds and blues and now we are fighting about who takes the next shot of booze and the only way to stop this madness and chaos is to start with yourself so take a look at your image and decide by yourself.

Who am I? Yeah you see me walking through the halls but it’s deeper than that. Come up and talk to me and you’ll see I’m more than just a human I have thoughts and feeling and so does everybody in this room and I hope someday everybody realizes too that if we just speak with kindness and compassion the world can be make a better place.

I’m not just speaking for myself if we come together we can make a change if we just rearrange some simple things.
